A nose with notes of jam and spices. On the palate, this bottle is focused on fruit, with a full-bodied structure and soft tannins.
Old vines of Gamay Saint-Romain, farmed with organic and biodynamic methods, on a terroir of granite soils. Ploughing, natural grass cover crops, disbudding, leaf thinning as well as harvesting by hand are all practiced at this estate, located at the foot of the Massif Central. Vinification: de-stemming for 2/3 of the harvest, maceration for 15 days, maturation in large conical wood vats and cement vats between 8 and 12 months depending on the vintage. Little sulphur.
