Blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Abouriou, from vines grown organically, in their first years of conversion to organic farming. Indeed, the plots were purchased recently. 15-year-old vines, with a North-West exposure. Manual harvesting and natural vinification: total destemming, gentle punching down and two light daily pump-overs during the 10 days of maceration. Soft pressing, one year of aging in barrels that have seen several wines, blending of the barrels then three months in vats. Not fined, not filtered, low dose of sulphur.

Antoine Delaunay
Antoine Delaunay, son and grandson of Muscadet winegrowers, is a 36-year-old winemaker, now at the head of the Delaunay Vignerons estate.
