Implicite - 2020 - Ludovic Chanson
Domaine Ludovic Chanson
Fine and powerful, with notes of quince, white flowers, citrus fruit, yellow apple, and almonds in the shell... A dry wine in this vintage, but still that beautiful acidity, plus lovely bitter notes, and monumental length. A Chenin for gastronomy, crafted for food pairings.

100% Chenin from organically grown vines, certified by Ecocert, and planted on the localities of Les Bâtisses and Les Pions in Montlouis-sur-Loire, on plots showing soils made up of flint and clay, typical of the area. Manual harvest. Vinification: direct pressing, entonnage therefore fermentation and aging in barrels (with one third of new oak), for 24 months. A pinch of sulfur in order to control the volatil acidity. Bottled at the estate right from the barrel, without filtration nor fining.
