Vignobles Les Justices
A luscious nose of roasted white fruit, candied lemon, lime blossom and a hint of honey. A round palate, with lovely volume, fruit and body, balanced by fine acidity, and a long, luscious finish. Low alcohol for this vintage, resulting in a very fresh wine.

100% Chenin from vines in conversion to organic farming, planted in the communes of Dampierre-sur-Loire, Les Ulmes and Le Puy Notre Dame, on clay-limestone soils with veins of flintstone. The grapes are harvested by hand, and vinified naturally: after direct pressing, the wine has a slow fermentation, with indigenous yeasts, followed by 6 months of maturation on its lees, in vats with several bâtonnages to build texture. Bottled at the estate without fining, filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur during vinification.
