Loire Valley
Le Grolleau - 2021 - Marie Thibault - Magnum
Un Saumon dans la Loire
A singular juice, but one that everybody loves, with its notes of red plum, blueberry, cranberry, a touch of leather and pepper. Fruity and juicy palate, velvety texture, black cherry finish. We have a crush on this one!

100% Grolleau from 60-year-old organic vines planted on hillsides on the southern slopes of the Indre. Very early-ripening terroir, very draining soils with a strong presence of flint. A flock of sheep is present in the vines during the winter season. Manual harvest in small crates. 10 days of maceration of the whole bunches, fermentation and aging in concrete vats. Bottled at the Estate in April 2022 without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur.
Marie Thibault
Marie Thibault has almost always known, while not having any family ties with wine, if not for the pleasure of hosting friends around a good bottle, that she would like to be a winemaker in the Loire Valley "when she’d be a grown up”... She definitely made it, after a beautiful journey and a clear path in the Loire Valley vineyards. After her degrees in biology and oenology, Marie started...
