Rosé - 2023 - Olivier Bellanger
La Piffaudière
A joyful rosé with notes of raspberry, grapefruit, watermelon and a floral touch... A wine with more depth than previous vintages, perfect to pair with food. Tense palate, nice roundness, fruity finish. Great work, Olivier!

A blend of Gamay, Cabernet Franc, and Côt, roughly one-third of each, from organically farmed vines planted on light clay with flint and silty sand soils. Hand-harvested. Natural vinification: indigenous yeasts, direct pressing for Cabernet Franc and Côt, saignée rosé for Gamay, blending, then five months of aging in fiber tanks. Bottled at the Domaine in January 2024 with just a micro-dose of sulfur.
