Blend of grape varieties: primarily Grolleau, Gamay and Côt, supplemented by Pineau d’Aunis, Pinot Noir, Chenin, Chasselas, Orbois, and Ugni Blanc… Local and forgotten grape varieties! 70 to 80-year-old vines grown biodynamically and planted on red flint clays. Harvesting by hand on the 15th, 18th and 19th of September 2023, and sorting is done immediately at a table in the vineyard, and in the cellar. Vinification: direct pressing, followed by maturation in concrete vats and fiber vats for five months, on fine lees. Bottled in March 2024.
Damien Délécheneau
Damien and Coralie Délécheneau met as classmates in Bordeaux, while both studying for their oenology diplomas, and haven’t left each other since. After each separately gaining experience (in the Beaujolais trade body, and in California for Madame, and training in Irancy, in Chablis at Domaine Laroche, in Saint Estèphe, and in Napa Valley for Monsieur) they finally returned to Amboise in 2002...
