100% Syrah from old vines farmed biodynamically and planted on granitic soils at 250 metres above sea level in the commune of Sarras. The parcel is owned by Jacques Maurice who joined the estate in 2017, making this the second vintage of this cuvée. Vinification: 99% de-stemmed, three weeks of maceration in concrete vats, with pumping over almost every day, gentle pressing, 12 months of maturation in 600-litre demi-muid barrels that have seen several wines. Neither fined, nor filtered, and zero added sulphur. Matured in bottles at the estate.
