Rhône Valley
A cuvée that’s all about pleasure, redolent of cherry, blackcurrant and blackberry, and already evolving towards subtle notes of forest floor and smoke. With a sunny palate, this is generous yet intense juice, perfectly balanced with lovely concentration.
100% Grenache, from 25- to 30-year-old vines, farmed biodynamically and Demeter-certified, planted in several parcels on the same slope. The grapes are harvested by hand over 3 weeks, with the first picked just under ripe. Vinification: the grapes are macerated 8 days with 50% in whole bunches, followed by maturation in vats for 80% and in barrels that have seen several wines for 20%. After one year of maturation, the wine is blended and placed in vats for another 3 months. Bottled without fining or filtration, and just a microdose of sulphur.
