Pipelette is the French word for "chatterbox"... a wine that reflects the winemaker's personality! With notes of pear and elderberry, this easy-drinking juice loosens tongues and makes you want to have more!
A blend of Clairette and Cinsault, from relatively young vines planted on clay-limestone soils and grown organically. Harvested by hand. Vinification: direct pressing of both grape varieties, resulting in a white wine vinification for the Clairette, and a blanc de noirs vinification for the Cinsaul (i.e. white wine made from red grape varieties). Fermented and aged for 7 months on fine lees in concrete tanks. Bottled at the estate around Easter 2024, without fining or filtration, and without any addition of sulfites.
Julien Mary grew up in Uzès in a winery, with a winegrower and horse breeder father, and an agricultural engineer grandfather.
