Rhône Valley
Premier Quartier - 2023 - Jean Delobre
La Ferme des Sept Lunes
A rich nose with aromas of black fruits, coffee, prune, and cocoa, and toasted notes. The palate is surprising compared to the nose, very smooth and fluid, with beautiful structure – it's juicy! A wine with wonderful ageing potential.

100% Syrah, from young vines planted at 350 metres altitude on deep granite soils and farmed biodynamically. The grapes are harvested by hand. Vinification: the grape bunches are destemmed, followed by almost three weeks of maceration with a gentle extraction (some pumping over and crushing), pressing and then transfer into 228-litre barrels that have seen several wines. 12 months of maturation in oak. Neither fined, nor filtered, with just a microdose of sulphur added during blending of the barrels.
