Rhône Valley
A nose of apricot, yellow peach, pineapple, jasmine, and lemon zest. The palate: in three words, lusciousness, freshness, length. We didn't expect so much from this "little" cuvée, truly a lovely surprise!
A blend of 50% Viognier and 50% Roussanne (as you probably guessed from the name...) from vines farmed biodynamically and planted on granite and loess soils. The grapes are harvested by hand. Vinification: direct pressing, fermentation and maturation in stainless steel tanks. Bottled at the estate in Spring 2024, without filtration, and without any added sulfur.
Jean Delobre of La Ferme des 7 Lunes, located between Valence and Vienne, took over the family business in 1984, following in the footsteps of his grandparents and parents.
