Rhum XO Belize - Fair
Nose both round and lively, fruity, spicy, strong vanilla, enhanced by the peps of citrus fruits, mandarin and kumquat. Powerful, luscious palate, with aromas of crème brûlée and madeleine. Long and subtly spicy finish, last sensation on chocolate notes. A highly seductive rum, from an unknown terroir!

A Belize rum from sugar cane produced by the Belize Sugar Cane Farmers Association cooperative, made up of 6000 small producers, certified Fair Trade. It is not a cane honey rum as we usually find in Central America, but a molasses rum, which is the residue of the production of cane sugar, a dark liquid, concentrated in sugars and aromas. After fermentation, it is distilled in a column still (or Coffey still) at the Traveller’s Liquors distillery, which is super close to the Caribbean seas. Four to six years of aging in American oak barrels, ex-bourbon barrels. Bottled without added sugars.
