This is the third vintage of this 100% Cinsault cuvee, made from century-old vines grown organically on a single plot of marl and schist. Harvested by hand and vinified the natural way: short carbonic maceration of the whole clusters, gentle pressing, aged for 10 months in 500-litre barrels, without new oak. Bottled at the estate without fining or filtration, no sulphites added.

Tom Lubbe
Tom Lubbe hails from South Africa. In France, he was one of the finest students of Gérard Gauby , thanks to whom he met Nathalie, Gérard’s sister, with whom he settled in 2001 in Calce, in a still unspoilt environment, where they founded the Domaine Matassa.
