100% Grenache Noir, from 35-year-old vines, farmed organically and planted on a steep slope of schist soils on the Col de la Dona in Calce. Manual harvest, low yields of 15 hl/ha. Two passes over two weeks to find the right balance in ripeness between the two parcels. Vinification: the first grapes harvested macerate in whole bunches for six days, the second batch for six more days. Matured in stainless steel vats for 7 months. Bottled during March 2022 without fining, filtration or added sulfites.
