Méharée - 2023 - Perrine Loeuilleux
L'Âme Bleue
"Méharée" is desert expedition on camelback in French, a nod to Perrine’s journey from north to south when she chose to settle in Roussillon! Both fresh and complex, thanks to a blend of young and old vines. Lovely supple texture, with notes of bright red berries. Perfect with charcuterie.

Blend: 50% Syrah from 10-year-old vines planted on clay-limestone soils at the lower part of the commune of Calce, 30% Grenache Noir, and 20% Carignan, both from 80-year-old goblet-trained vines rooted in limestone bedrock. Bottled on April 16, 2024, unfined, unfiltered, with just a micro-dose of sulfur.
