Sel de Marius - 2023 - Denis et Didier Berthollier
Denis & Didier Berthollier Vignerons
A tribute to Marius, the grandpa of Denis and Didier! Beautiful balance combining the finesse and red fruit of Pinot Noir with the rustic, mineral naturalness of Gamay. Fresh, digestible, crisp and slightly tannic on the palate.

Harvested by hand between September 10th and 25th, sorting of the berries by hand, total destemming for the Pinot Noir and whole grapes for the Gamay. 7 to 10 days maceration in 600 liter demi-muids, gentle pressing, 12 months of aging, 80% in vats and 20% in demi-muids. Bottled at the estate, respecting the lunar cycles, with only a micro-dose of sulphur.
