A blended cuvée of 96% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot, from vines grown as naturally as possible in the village of Lissac-sur-Couze, south of Brive-la-Gaillarde. Hand-harvested on September 19th. Maceration of whole bunches for 41 days, pressing, ageing for 25 months in stainless steel vats. Bottled by gravity, by hand, in December 2022, without fining, filtration or added sulfites. 180 bottles produced.
Didier Mouton
Didier Mouton is a vigneron in the Corrèze region of south-western France. There, since 2001, he has owned a micro-estate, and since 2006, vinifies his own wines. With a little more than 1 hectare, producing 800 bottles a year, we are talking here about an impassioned gardener.
