Especial - 2019 - Hardy Wallace
Dirty and Rowdy
A wonderfully fruity and vegetal nose, the three grape varieties complement each other marvellously here. The palate is supple and full of finesse, boasting beautiful acidity. Decant an hour and a half before tasting.

A blend of 60% Petite Sirah, 20% Zinfandel and 20% Barbera, from vines that are 75 years old on average, farmed organically, without irrigation, and planted on volcanic and alluvial soils, at 180 metres altitude, in the Mendocino County area. Vinification: one week of maceration, partial carbonic, with whole grape bunches, followed by maturation in barrels that have seen 8 to 14 wines. Unfiltered and unfined, this cuvée receives ZERO sulphur, even at bottling!
