Strong and very fragrant nose on notes of exotic fruits, honeysuckle, acacia and orange zests. Fresh and smooth palate. A turbid wine, to leave to rest vertically in the fridge for 24 hours before tasting, so as to let the lees settle. A disconcerting cuvée with a sublime nose.

50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Sauvignon Gris from vines grown organically and harvested by hand. The grapes were super healthy, superb harvest quality. Three weeks of maceration of the two grape varieties in whole bunches, soft pressing, short aging in terracotta small amphorae. Bottled on the 21st of December, 2022 without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulfur at bottling. Only 400 bottles produced.
Osamu Uchida
Osamu Uchida, born of the 1977 vintage, grew up in Hiroshima but was educated in French culture from a very young age – his parents were wine merchants! He was barely in his twenties when he decided to head off to the land of Molière to immerse himself in French language… and wine! By the end of his first stay, it was the welcome he’d received from the many vignerons he visited that convinced...
